A great song written by Herb Magidson and Allie Wrubel. The version by Nancy Wilson on the ‘Nancy Wilson/Cannonball Adderley’ album is pretty tough to beat. This is David Dower on piano and Kim May on bass, Melbourne 2025.

Nat Cole had a hit with this easy swinging tune by Bert Kaempfert with lyrics by Milt Gable in 1964. Here with David and Kim we run it through a few different tempos. I think this is the first time we played this song, as is the case with much of our repertoire.

We’ve been playing this one forever. Its a grooving, memorable tune by Joe Zawinul.
Autumn Leaves
We’ve all played this great 32-bar standard a million times. This is a straight reading with the ever-swinging Tom Flenady on bass.

A great tune by David Mann. I really enjoyed this one. We don’t play it often and it’s different each time, like most of what we play.
